I’m Lael (rhymes with whale) and yes that is how I used to introduce myself during rush week as President of my Sorority, Tri Delta. Born in raised in Dallas, TX I now reside in the land of betting on horses, wearing large hats and drinking mint juleps otherwise known as the home of the Kentucky Derby. My husband and I moved to Kentucky 2 years ago and have since welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Rohan.
I started blogging a couple of years ago as a way to answer beauty and fashion questions I would get from my girlfriends and a way to have a creative writing outlet this Journalism grad craves.
My love for all things beauty related started at a young age and developed further in College working under a MAC Pro Makeup Artist for Weddings and Sorority functions. I eventually started working as a freelance makeup artist and a fashion stylist for a high end clothing label.
I love sharing the tips & tricks I have learned in the Beauty and Fashion industry with others and the culture of blogging is such a wonderful community for women to inspire and lift each other up.
