I have found that most parents won’t treat themselves to new luggage because its not a necessity. I realized this when I picked my mom up from the airport at Christmas and her suitcase was being held together with duct tape. Geez Louis! Calpak makes durable luggage that is more affordable but still high quality. I love the hard case and spinner wheels on this model.

This is another gift that most parents or grandparents wouldn’t think to buy themselves but once they have one they will love it! There are cordless versions which means grandma won’t have to break her back to plug the thing in! This one gets the highest ratings and the heat is such a nice added feature!

What to make your giftee cry this year because your gift is overwhelmingly thoughtful? This is it! Try to find a recipe or card with their mother or father’s handwriting and have it engraved into a cutting board! Have a giftee that has a green thumb but likes somewhere with true seasons, this thing is so cool! Or maybe mom loves indoor plants this is a great gift idea! 7. Faux Fur Throw
This one is pretty self explanatory but everyone no matter their age seems to love a good cozy throw and this is the coziest one I own!
8. Echo Smart Speaker with Alexa
The Echo is the perfect gift for anyone really but most people don’t think about it for their parents and you should! Alexa via the Echo can make phone calls, take down reminders, play music, read books and the news, answer questions so mom doesn’t have to call you to ask you what Thot means (lol), set timers, entertain grandkids with games, etc. If you want you can take it a step further and get the compatible pieces to turn on/off lights, air, garage doors, TV’s etc! It’s a great gift but you will probably need to set it up for them. 🙂
