I am a firm believer that if you want to change something about your looks than you should and you should’t be ashamed of that. Luckily, our society in general is coming around to this notion as well and cosmetic procedures have steadily risen year over year!
I came across Dr. Devgan who is based in NYC after reading an article about Kim Kardashian’s plastic surgeons and procedures she has done. I began following her instagram and was impressed with her results. She does not ever over do it and her results are subtle which I wanted.
Using filler to correct imperfections on the nose has grown in popularity in the last year or so and the results can be quite dramatic. I would go as far as to say they can be just as dramatic as having an actual rhinoplasty. The great thing about using filler to correct these imperfections is obviously cost, no downtime from work, reversible if you don’t like the results, quick and painless.
My experience with Dr. Devgan was wonderful. We started by taking before photos so that I would be able to see the change once she was done. We then spoke in detail about what I would like to change about my nose and I showed her a few photos of what I was trying to achieve. She measured the dimensions of my nose, my profile and other areas of my face to make sure we were going to be as proportionate as possible. Dr. Devgan began and in the video below that she posted to her Instagram you can see that I am not wincing because it was painless. Yes, you will of course feel the needle slightly but if you are accustomed to getting botox or any other filler than this will be nothing for you. The injections took about 5 minutes and then she massaged the filler for 1 minute and voila we were done!
Dr. Devgan uses a filler that lasts on average 1.5-2 years and the cost is approximately $1,500 but could vary if more filler is needed. The procedure took 5 minutes and I had 1 bruise on my nose for a week that was easily covered with makeup!
