Today’s look is a perfect way to get more wear out of your wardrobe. We are taking the same floral dress I wore on Monday’s Coachella post and we are going to layer a sweater over it to make the appearance that the dress is in fact a skirt!
This is such a great trick that is so easy but when we are styling outfits in our closet we often forget about it or maybe this is your first time ever seeing this trick! In that case, girl, jump on board!
The trick here is that because the sweater is sleeveless I have to choose a dress that is also sleeveless and belting it through the armhole just gives the outfit a more stylized look. You can do this with pretty much any dress and sweater combo in your closet and it is so easy and quick!
I love the belting through the sleeve trick that my stylist friend @emanbfendi showed me a few years ago! She is based in NYC and is fabulous at thinking outside of the box!
